• Monday, May 30 6:30 AM-7:45 AM Packet Pick Up / Registration for the 8K and 'Both Distances' Participants (8K starts at 8:00 AM, 1M at 10:00 AM). 6:30 AM-9:30 AM Packet Pick Up / Registration for the Packet Pick Up / Registration (10:00 AM race start). 8:00 AM-9:45 AM 8k Road Race 8:00 AM-10:30 AM 8k & 1-Mile - Both Events 10:00 AM-10:30 AM 1 Mile Road Race

The 55th Running of the Chattanooga Chase Road Race presented by Fast Break Athletics will take place on Monday, May 30TH, 2022 at Riverview Park in Chattanooga, TN.  The 8K Race will start at 8:00 am and the 1 Mile Race will start at 10:00 am. 

The Chattanooga Chase is the oldest active competitive road race in the area. This race features both an 8k and 1-mile race through the scenic North Shore neighborhoods. The 8k is known for its challenging hills and breathtaking scenery.  The 1-mile race features a fairly flat, fast course through the neighborhood adjacent to Chattanooga Golf and Country Club. 

The event will be followed by a post-race picnic at Riverview Park with refreshments, awards, and door prizes.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

6:30 AM  -  Registration opens
7:45 AM  -  Registration for the 8k race closes
8:00 AM  – 8k race begins
9:00 AM  -  Top 25 8K M/F Announced (t-shirts/group photo)
9:30 AM -  1 mile race registration closes
10:00 AM - 1 mile race begins
10:30 AM - Award Ceremony, Top 25 1M M/F (t-shirts/group photo) & Door Prizes

PARKING
There is LIMITED on-street parking throughout the North Shore. Carpooling STRONGLY recommended.

We will be taking enhanced health and safety measures for our race participants, volunteers, spectators, vendors, and sponsors. You must follow posted instructions while attending the Chattanooga Chase.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By attending the Chattanooga Chase, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

**CTC has a no refund policy.  This is due to Planning, Purchasing, Ordering deadlines etc to prepare for a race.  We are sorry if circumstances prevent you from participating after you have registered on-line.  Please contact the Race Director if you would like to Defer your entry to 2023.  Thank you for understanding.**
