The classic, fall 10K race at scenic, historic Moccasin Bend is in it's 34th year. This is a no-frills, low-cost event and we're keeping things simple for runners and volunteers. Thank you for being part of this race, your help will ensure a safe, fun event for everyone.
Charity partner for the race is Johnson Mental Health Center's P.A.T.H. program. P.A.T.H. (Projects for Assitance in Transition from Homelessness) offers case management and outreach to individuals who are homeless and have severe and persistent mental illness in Hamilton County. Please consider making a donation to P.A.T.H. at the race.
Volunteer check-in is in the Moccasin Bend Institute gymnasium. Please plan to arrive for your scheduled shift at least 15 minutes early. This race doesn't offer participant t-shirts but all volunteers will receive a gift from the Chattanooga Track Club in appreciation for your help. Please see Sujeel, the race director, when you check in.

Parking: Parking area is to the left of the hospital front entrance.
**if your volunteer shift is on the race course (water station #1 or #2), park in the institute parking lot and there will be a van to take you to your shift location. There won't be room to park your car on the course.
Gymnasium: Follow signs to the Moccasin Bend Gymnasium for:
Pick up bibs + timing chips.
Race day registration.

Directions
From Highway 27 or Cherokee Blvd in Chattanooga:
Go west on Maufacturers Road, then turn left at Hamm Road. Turn left on Moccasin Bend Road and drive 1.75 miles to Moccasin Bend Mental Hospital. Parking area is to the left after the front entrance.
